Conductive Removable Access Raised Flooring Anti - Slip Raised Floor Ramp
Why a Ramp is Demanded?
Raised Access Floor Systems are widely used in offices, computer rooms, data centers, clean rooms, etc, it is an easy way to manage wiring system and cabling system.
As raised floor systems are lifted by pedestals and stringers system, ramp is always necessary to connect ground and raised floor finish.
How to Make a Ramp?
Raised Floor Ramp with Slope Head Pedestal
For ramp with long distance or smooth gradient, we developed a pedestal with slop head, the head’s angle of inclination can be adjusted according to ramp’s angle of inclination.
No. | DESCRIPTION | No. | DESCRIPTION |
1 | Raised Floor | 7 | Comer-Lock Fastener |
2 | Slope Pedestal Head | 8 | Flat Head Screw |
3 | Pedestal Base | 9 | Concrete Anchor Screw |
4 | Aluminum Threshold | 10 | Aluminum Top Angle |
5 | Aluminum Rampshoe | 11 | Aluminum Bottom Angle |
6 | Orbital Rubber Tile | 12 | Aluminum Fascia Plata |
Steel Frame Ramp with Non-slip Mat
For ramp with short distance or abrupt gradient, steel frame ramp with Non-slip mat is widely used. We can build in advance and deliver together with raised floor, you can also build at project site follow bellow steps.
1. Measure the size of the ramp required for raised floor system. Measure both the height, length and width of the ramp. In case that disabled person may use it, ramp should allow enough room for a wheelchair.
2. The first thing is to make the base support of ramp. Cut steel accurately, weld them together, and make them as supports for ramp.
3. Use steel to brace the ramp, they can be fixed on diagonally. While you doing this, think about how you are going to anchor the ramp to the floor.
4. Now you can assemble the components to your ramp. Drill holes where on steel where needs to be screwed, start to make up the frame by putting one screw in each corner. Once the frame is made, tighten the screws until the frame feels secure but still movable.
5. Check that the ramp is square by measuring and comparing the diagonals. If these measurements are vastly different, then do something to knock the ramp back into square.
6. Once the ramp is square, drill and screw in another screw in each of the corners so that the frame can’t move anymore. Add the extra supports to the middle of the frame.
7. Add plywood or wooden sheeting to the surface and nail it down. While nailing on the plywood surface, make sure that it doesn't move. Non-slip mat can be stuck onto the ramp.
8. Once the ramp is completed, it can then be fitted into the room. Fit it against the raised floor so that anybody can easily get onto the higher level.
